Paper Week 2026 - Open Recycling

Through its environmental education activities, AISA aims to contribute to the Third Mission activities, which represent one of the fundamental mandates of Italian universities, promoting dialogue between the academic world, civil society and the productive system and enhancing the public role of scientific knowledge.

In this context, AISA is renewing its commitment in 2026 by offering a training and professional development opportunity for students, undergraduates and recent graduates of degree courses related to environmental issues at your university.

We are currently looking for students, undergraduates and graduates interested in participating in the national environmental education project “RICICLO APERTO” (OPEN RECYCLING), which will take place during Paper Week 2026 (13-19 April 2026).

As in previous years, the project will be carried out in collaboration with the National Consortium for the Recovery and Recycling of Cellulose-based Packaging (COMIECO) and will involve primary and secondary school students throughout the country.

The activities will take place at paper mills, paper converting plants, museums and sorting platforms in various Italian regions and will be aimed at primary school children and secondary school pupils.

Selected students will receive specific training and will be regularly contracted for the days of activity. If you find this initiative interesting, we would be grateful if you could share this information with the student community in the manner you deem most appropriate.
